A Party At My Auntie’s & Riding Bicycle

Last Sunday, my auntie invited Grandma, my uncle’s family and my family to her home to have a party.  My uncle brought his brown, hairy small dog, Sora there.  It grew a bit bigger than before.  When we arrived there, my brother and I wanted to play Beyblade Tops with our elder cousin.  However, she said that she lost her tops, the ‘‘bull’’ and the ‘‘wolf’’.  So, she borrowed mine and we played.  My brother gave me a fitting of his toy when I put my tops back into my beloved red box after we finished.  It was black and could change the parts of any Beyblade Tops.  Then we ate Indonesian food that my auntie’s helper made.  I had cola for drink.  They were quite yummy.  The helper was so busy that the doorman of the building warned her when she mashed the peanut at the midnight on the day before!  After the meal, I played with Sora because it was so excited and ran across our foot at dinnertime.  We had a ball fight in my auntie’s room too.  I used a ball from the ball fight to play as a football and a basketball.  At last, Dad said that my elder cousin could come to my house but not the younger one because she was small.  I was happy.

The next sunny day, I did the music things while my brother read newspaper and my cousin drew a picture.  In the afternoon, Dad and Mum took us to a restaurant to meet my auntie’s family.  We had yum cha there.  The red bean dumpling was the most delicious dim sum I ate.  Then, we cycled at the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade.  My family rode our own bicycles and my auntie’s family rented three bikes at the entrance there.  We all rode in a large circular runway which was in the middle of the promenade.  Moreover, my auntie bought some snacks for us.  I ate a packet of chocolate biscuits, a packet of potato chips, a piece of shrimp pancake and drank three bottles of Yakult.

These two days were the happiest days of my Easter holiday.

Glasses!

This Wednesday after school, Mum took me to MongKok by MTR because I had to take my new glasses.  These months, I could not see clearly when having lessons at school especially the words that projected on the screen by the projector.  My glasses had a pair of shiny silver frames made of metal that almost shaped like rectangles.  Its plastic sides were dark blue.  I chose it by myself and my favourite colours are blue and silver.  I felt quite dizzy when wearing the glasses on the first day but now I feel much better.     

Warship, Concert, Lego & ToysRus

This Sunday after church, Dad, my brother, my cousins’ family, and I decided to go to watch a free concert in Central and Lego exhibition in Taikoo City.  However, my cousin almost forgot that she had to go to the glee club just after church.  So, we had to wait for my cousin and uncle at the Star Ferry pier in Tsim Sha Tsui. 

When we arrived there, we were all surprised to see a small warship from France.  Dad advised that we could get to the top floor of the Harbour City mall to see the warship clearer.  I saw the warship has a cannon and some lifeboats.  Before long, my cousin and uncle came and it was time to go.  The ferry went smoothly all the way when a big wave from the police ship knocked on our boat!  The ferry shook madly.  My cousins and I thought it was so thrilling.  After a while, we got to the City Hall in Central.  I enjoyed both the fast song and the fancy song about a toy shop.  In the middle of the concert, children could even sit or stand on the stage to hear and watch closely because it was an informal concert called Good Music This Day. 

When the concert finished, the vile sight that we saw outside the hall was it rained and none of us had an umbrella.  Plus, if we didn’t want to get wet when crossing the road, we must use the footbridge.  However, the footbridge was cordoned off!  So, there was only one choice for us.  Waited until the rain was it.  I thought the grown-ups felt a bit bored but my brother, cousins and I did not.  That was because we found there were some interesting games.  We played the “sliding bucket” and ‘‘beat the cushion’’.  At last, the cordon was untied.  Before watching the Lego exhibition, we had a cake, some coffee, a muffin and sandwiches for tea at a MacDonald’s.

When we got to the Lego exhibition, I saw many mini and huge figures, like the characters of Lego Ninjago.  There were also many cities and famous places in the world there.  For example, there were Japan built by two fat men, Hong Kong, USA, Egypt, the Great wall, the London bridge, the Eiffel Tower and the Saint Basil’s Cathedral…  I liked all of them.  At last, Dad, my brother and I went to ToysRus.  I saw the Lego Ninjago part two.

I had a wonderful Sunday. 

My Second-hand Piano

Last Saturday, my auntie’s sister-in-law gave my family a Yamaha U3H piano.  It is quite big and has more beautiful voice than the Yamaha digital piano that my brother and I already used for about three years.  We gave the Yamaha digital piano to a friend of our church.  Although the U3H piano’s surface and the metal are not the best, but I like the piano a lot.

Keybot Thundersinga

This Sunday, My family and I went to church in the morning.  After church, we went to yum cha nearby with my grandparents and auntie. (Before that day was my grandma’s birthday.)  Then, Dad my brother and I went home.  When we got home, Dad gave a present to both my brother and I because we behave well when having dinner on Grandma’s birthday.  My brother’s present was a bleu trailer that could carry a shiny dark blue race car with bleu strips.  That set of game was called Burnin’ Key Cars.  My present is a Keybot.  Its name was Thundersinga.

Thundesinga is a thunder lion in dark blue and yellow colour.  It has a big fierce head with a pair of red ears and four little strong legs.  The most powerful part of Singa is its lighting tail.  The tail’s top had a yellow lighting shape, which look like the letter ‘‘Z’’.  It will use its deadly lighting from its tail and the silver claws to attack the bad Keybots.  When Singa changes into a warrior (robot) form from a Thundersinga (lion) form, it will use its tail as a sword.  Also, the middle of Singa‘s head will change into a robot, and the left and right side of its head will flip down to the shoulder as a shed.  Thundersinga can attach with a Keybot Thunder wolf and polar bear!  After they are attached, a twin cannon will be added on the big Keybot back.  When more Keybots are attached, Thundersinga’s head can use as a shed too.

I thought Thundersinga was the second keybot that I liked the best.           

       

Ocean Park (Aqua City)

Last week, I went to Ocean Park two times.  The first time was with Dad and the second was with Dad, Mum Grandma and my brother.  We went there because there was a new part near the entrance.  The new part is called Aqua City.  There are a brand new entrance with colourful weird ocean monster  sculptures too.  It’s name is Ocean Square.  The Aqua City Lagoon, Grand Aquarium and Sea Life Carousel are the main attractions in Aqua city. 

The Aqua City Lagoon is actually a big fountain.  Water columns dance to the happy music in the morning and are used to stage the performance about a thrilling story of the Fire Dragon and Water Dragon at night (starts at half past seven)! 

The Grand Aquarium is a huge aquarium.  It is one of the ten largest aquariums in the world!  Inside it are more than 400 kinds and a total of 5000 fish!  There are also a lot of beautiful coral with rainbow-like colours.  To me, the most special fish are the fish whose face can blink like fireflies, the leafy sea dragons which look like a combination of seahorses and seaweeds,  a fish with a horn on its head like a unicorn, the milkfish with shiny body as white as the tasty milk, three octopus (ugly!) and the four Spider Crabs as big as three dogs with ten legs and a pair of small clamps.  All the fish are behind a big, tall and wide plastic screen.  The screen is eight metre high and thirteen metre wide!  And of course, it is the biggest plastic screen in the world!  Near the aquarium exit, there is a restaurant called Neptune’s Restaurant on the second floor.  It looks quite beautiful and cosy.  However, Mum and Grandma said it’s food was tasteless and the price was unreasonable when they had dinner there with my brother at the second time.  Dad and I didn’t eat there because we had to go to a concert in Tsim Sha Tsui.  

The last main attraction is the Sea Life Carousel.  Actually, It is a merry-go-round but there are no horses but just fish on it.  I rode on an octopus with Dad when we played it.  The octopus can turn and almost all the people didn’t know that.  Do you know?  I love playing Sea Life Carousel and merry-go-round very much!

We also went to the Amazing Bird Theatre where the interesting bird performance performs and the adventurous Emerald Trail took place.  The Emerald Trail looks like the Amazon Forest.  There is a bouncy, funny and long hanging bridge made of wood for crossing the small river and there are some tortoise in the Emerald Trail. 

The night on our first visit, Dad and I went to Panda Cafe to have dinner which is beside the Amazing Asian Animals World before watching the performance at Aqua City Lagoon, .  We could eat yummy Asian food there.  My dad ate a plate of rice with two kinds of meat.  I ate a big bowl of Hokkaido noodles with soup.  There were a lot of Japanese food in it.  I thought it was the most delicious food in the whole park.

Now, I really like Ocean Park more than Disney Land because of the fancy Aqua City.  I hope I can visit Ocean Park again soon.

I Was Sick

The twenty-third of March, I was sick and went to the doctor near my home with Mum from school at noon.  That was because I felt cold and weak suddenly not long before noon.  So, my Chinese teacher said that I can go to the first aid room with my best friend, Danny.  When we got there, an officer help me to check my temperature.  To my surprised, my temperature was 102 degree!  The officer packed my bag and called my Mum to pick me up at once.  That’s how I got home to rest from school.  The next day, the same thing happened.  About ten o’clock, I was cold and weak again.  This time, I was so cold that my teeth, arms and legs even shook!  That two days, I really want to sleep when I had my lessons but I love to go to school.  I think I was sick because I caught a cold when taking a shower before.  And, my brother was sick too.  I felt much better now.  However, I always sneeze.
