Happy Chinese New Year!

Today, I only stayed at school for half day because next week was  Chinese New Year holiday!  I had lessons in the morning and we cleaned the classroom together in the afternoon.  I felt hot and tired after cleaning the classroom but the classroom was neat and clean.  Then, I ate some Chinese New Year’s food with my friends for lunch.  The food were not very tasty.  At last, the teacher gave us holiday homework.  It was less than last year.  Today, I felt a bit bored and happy.  I hope I can have a happy Chinese New Year!  

Great Sunday

On Sunday, I had to go to the Hong Kong International School Football Championship.  At seven o’clock, I went to school myself.  After a while, Mr. Fong, my teammates and I rode a coach to the football pitches.  I felt excited.  It took us forty-five minutes.  When we arrived there, I saw my coach, Mr. Poon.  There were also many teams.  Most of them were from other countries but studied in Hong Kong. Then, the nine-years-old groups started the game.  Our team played five matches but only had one goal.  At lunchtime, I had sandwiches, biscuits and milk.  Then I watched the eleven-years-old groups play the matches.  At last, there was a prize presentation.  The champion was the white team.  When I got home, I slept.  I felt flat out and had sort of funny mixed feelings that day.          

Boring Saturday

Last Saturday, I attended the presentation ceremony for outstanding students at school in the morning. My classmates and I had a rehearsal at the hall.  Then, I went back to the classroom and waited for the real presentation ceremony.  I waited for two hours!  I felt very bored.  At ten o’clock, my classmates and I went back to the hall for the presentation ceremony.  It was only five minutes!  Again, I went back to the classroom, waited and waited until the presentation ceremony ends.  So, I think presentation  was really boring, nonsense, silly and a waste of time!

My Knees Really Hurt

Today, I went to my football lesson after my piano lesson as usual in the morning.  When my classmate and I had a match, someone kicked the football to my school’s car park.  I wanted to help, so I ran to pick it back.  When I ran back, I fell on to the brick ground!  My knees hurt a lot.  My knees are very painful now!  I hope I can be careful next time.

Gundam

Last Sunday, My brother went to Grandma’s church because Dad, Mum and I needed to attend the Presentation ceremony of “Hong Kong is my home” drawing competition.  Grandma’s church gave both my brother and I a Gundam robot toy.  Mine is blue and his is grey.  My brother does not like Gundam robots.  So, he gave it to Dad.

My robot toy has a big head and thick feet.  It has two blasters in his hand.  It has claws instead of fingers.  It also two rockets on the back.  I like the robot toy.  it is smart.

I felt sick

Last Friday, I felt sick because I ate two large cups of pineapple and coconut jelly before.  At dinner time, I was very full and did not want to eat.  After that, I had a stomach ache.  I went to the toilet four times just because of the stomach ache that day!  I also felt cold and woke up at midnight.

The next day, I had to go to the piano lesson early in the morning.  I cried after the lesson because I was too tired!  Then, I walked back to school to have my two hour football lesson.  I wanted to leave in the middle of the lesson, but football is my favourite.  When I got home, I did not eat my lunch and went to sleep.  I slept from two o’clock to six o’clock.  In the evening, I got up and ate a piece of bread with berry jam and a cup of hot milk.  At night, I was lucky because I did not need to go to the awful swimming lesson.  My next lesson will be on Thursday because my Saturday lessons already finished.

On Sunday, I attended the presentation ceremony of “My Identification of Hong Kong” visual art competition in Wan Chai with Dad and Mum.  At lunch, We went to yum cha.  I only took a piece of steamed rice roll with shrimps and a small bowl of noodles.  That was because I still had stomach ache and was full.  Next, we shopped in Tai Yuen Street. 

Today, I felt better.  I was very happy that the sick finally gone!  

 

2011!

On the twenty-ninth of December, I watched a movie in the cinema at the Olympian City with Grandma and my brother in the afternoon.  It was Tron.  Tron is a Disney production.  It was very exciting.  The motorcycles, cars and spaceships are smart and cool.  The bad guys are in an orange or yellow and black suit while the good guys are in a blue and black suit.  We liked the movie.  At night, Dad, Mum and I went to New Town Plaza in Shatin to join the countdown party where the violin duo FUSE from the United Kingdom performed.  There were also many other enjoyable performances.  I stayed there until half past twelve.  I felt great that day.  Now 2010 has passed by and 2011 has arrived!

movies

This week, I watched a lot of movies.  They are Monster house, Despicable Me, Gulliver’s Travels and Megamind.  On Christmas Eve, I watched Monster House.  I think It is not scary.  The fat boy was funny.  On Christmas Day, I watched Despicable Me.  It was interesting and funny, especially the yellow fellow.  I watched the both in my home  On the 28 of December, I watched Gulliver’s Travels with my brother and Grandma.  Gulliver is silly, clever and brave.  Today, I watched Megamind with Mum, my brother, Cousin and Grandma.  Megamind was a bad guy and  Megaman was a great super hero.   I watched Gulliver’s Travels and Megamind in the cinema.  I am happy because I watch a lot of movies.

Boxing Day

Yesterday was Boxing Day.  In the afternoon, My brother and I open our present under the Christmas tree.  I had 5 presents.  My grandmother gave me the Lego world racers race 3, it was two racing cars.  My aunt also gave me Lego world racers.  But it was race 2, two racing boat.  And, my parents gave me a box of “Around the British Isles puzzle”, because I like United Kingdom the best, a Lego Star Wars Book, and a Star Wars Bombad Jedi book.  I felt happy.   

Christmas

Yesterday, My family and I took out the Christmas tree and decorated it with fancy decorations and Christmas cards. I like the snowman on the Christmas tree best.  We also put the presents under the Christmas tree.  My present was the biggest of all.  It was wrapped by blue present paper.  Today was Christmas Eve.  I felt happy.  At night, I go to the drawing class as usual except the teacher gave me a soft toy as Christmas present.  Later, I will watch a movie, Monster House.  And, tomorrow, I will have a Christmas party at home.  I love Christmas and I am excited.  

McDelivery

Tonight, I took a leaflet from the McDonald’s.  It is about its food delivery service for Christmas parties.  It offers delivery of food within 30 minutes.  There are many food items, including Potato Wedges, Tomato Seafood Soup, Mcwings, Chicken McNugets, Quarter Pounder, Fries, McCrispy Chicken Filet Burger, Filet-O Fish, Big N’ Tasty, Big Mac, Green Salad, Cheeseburger, Sausage McMuffin with Egg, Corn Cup, Sundae, Grilled Chicken Burger, different kinds of coffee, Lemon Tea and Soft Drink.  They are Delicious But I will never have the party because they are unhealthy.

Hong Kong Park

Today, I went to Hong Kong Park with Dad, Mum and my brother in the afternoon.  First, I ate a sachima with pork shreds and went behind a waterfall to the top of it.  Dad took photos of me.  Then, we went to the Forsgate Conservatory.  There were a dry plant house and a humid plant house.  I saw many cacti in the dry plant house.  They looked scary with their spikes.  In the humid plant house, it was very cool and had many beautiful, colourful flowers. 

After that, we went to the Edward Youde Aviary.  It was smaller than the Ocean Park’s. There were Pinon Imperial Pigeons, Bali Mynahs, Red Lories, Great Pied Hornbills and White Crested Hornbills.  The White Crested Hornbill was big.  It had messy white hair just as it had not combed its hair after getting up in the morning.  I laughed at it and it stared at me. 

At last, we went to the Vantage Point which was a tall tower with 105 steps.  We saw a panoramic view of the park.  At dinner time, we went to Delifrance and went home.    

 

The Activity Week

This is my school’s activity week.  We have to take part in different kinds of activities.  For example, we paid a visit to a kindergarten and performed in front of the little children yesterday.  Today after lunch, I went to class 3B to tell a story in Chinese which was called Zi Zi, My Precious Dog.  Those who performed well were given a special bookmark.  Guess what?  I got one!  Mine is in the shape of a tall glass filled with blue drink.  I like it a lot!

Grandfather’s Birthday

Last Thursday was my Grandfather’s birthday.  At half past seven, Dad, Mum, my brother and I walked to a restaurant.  My Grandparents, Uncles, Aunties and cousins were there.  We ate a roasted suckling pig, a roasted hen, shark’s fin soup, mushrooms and vegetables.  We had Chinese birthday buns for dessert.  All the food were wonderful.  I felt great that day.

2010 Hog Kong Youth Music Interflows String Orchestra Contest

Last Friday, I took part in the 2010 Hog Kong Youth  Music Interflows String Orchestra Contest with my  school string orchestra at the Tsuen Wan City Hall.  We played Handel’s Menuet III.

A portrait of Handel, a great musician who, Timmy’s dad thinks, will definitely and desperately need a haircut if he is alive today.  He will need a tight diet too.

I have just received Jesus as my personal Saviour

Tonight, Mum led me to pray to confess my sins and receive Jesus as my personal Saviour.  Dad and Mum congratulated me!

Last Tuesday, Dad, Mom, my brother and I rode the MTR Airport Express train to the Hong Kong Asia World-Expo to watch the River Of The Wisdom.

It is a long and wide scroll.  It is so long that we took an hour to finish watching it.  It is superb!
